The steps:
1. Click Students under People in the sidebar and open the student
2. Click More in the page header, then Withdraw
3. Enter the Last day and a Reason (the reason stays internal — it's your attrition data)
4. Click Withdraw — the withdrawal date now prints on the transcript and records packet
5. All records remain available forever; the identity strip shows "Withdrawn" with the date
6. If the student returns, open their page again, click More, then Reactivate
