At the moment when I am filming this video, we are still in the coronavirus situation, so many of us dropshippers, are looking for solutions to cut down the extreme long shipping times and a tool like spocket can be an amazing solution. I know spocket for a while, even when I was still dropshipping on eBay, and there are some specific reasons why I never used them before and the exact same reasons are keeping me from using them even till this day, so in this video, I am going to share all of that and give you my honest review about them.

So a far as goes what is spocket, basically spocket is just a platform of different suppliers, which they say that most of them are from US & EU and to be honest I saw more Chinese product results than US & EU, but anyways this is a platform where you can source straight from the top US & EU suppliers. It works very similar to oberlo with but instead of importing the products from Aliexpress using a chrome extension, you search and import products to your store straight from their platform.

Now don’t get me wrong, I think the idea and a service like that, can offer for dropshippers an amazing solution and help most of us doing dropshipping in a much higher quality way, which can dramatically increase our performance and decrease paypal, stripe and facebook bans! So as you can see having a tool like spocket can make our lives much easier as go as the fulfillment BUT don’t get your hopes up because as good as it sounds that is completely not the case.

So after I have heard about spocket, I immediately installed it to my shopify store and I wanted to find my new dropshipping suppliers with the best shipping times and lowest rates. So the first thing I did was of course looking for some products they have on their platform and products that I am already interested in or already selling and find them on spocket.

So is it worth it using spocket as a supplier? In my opinion definitely not. Let’s think for a second why? As dropshippers, it might not be a good idea to limit ourselves just for the product spocket has to offer, the whole idea of dropshipping is to be able to sell which products you want without any limitations, and the more product you have available the better chances you have to become successful. Now, spocket could be a good tool if they actually had some hot selling products that are trending at the moment and not just a bunch of random products that just because they ship from the US & EU you should consider selling them, this is a huge mistake, right, you want to have better fulfillment and cheaper prices, but you want to have that after you have a winning product and not the other way around.

Pricing? The prices on spocket are just extremely not competitive and even their pricing recommendations leave you with no profit at all. As a dropshipper that dropshipping on shopify using facebook ads for paid traffic, every $ you can save on your product cost counts! At the end of the day we have to have enough profit margins to spend on facebook ads to become profitable with our dropshipping business, and that should come first! If your only way to become profitable is by using suppliers from China, you should do that. Right, as a business owner you always want to improve the customer experience but if you won’t have any profits just because you want to ship your products from the US & EU you will be left with no business to run!
