1 Killed in Violent Car Crash in Albuquerque

At 7:30AM, the Albuquerque Police and Fire Rescue Departments were called to the intersection of Coors Blvd and Sevilla Avenue NW in regards to a two vehicle car crash.
When they arrived they found two vehicles involved in a violent car crash. One of the vehicles was flipped on it's roof. Another was a Mustang near the middle of the intersection. Rescue personnel attempted life saving measures on one of the occupants but they died on scene.
APD Fatal Crash investigators were investigating the scene into the Saturday morning. The crash was violent with many car parts strewn throughout the intersection and sidewalks of the streets. We did observe APD sealing the Mustang for evidence and appears one of the factors of the crash was speed.
We reached out to APD to see if anyone was taking into custody and per their policy they did not respond to our inquiries.
We will update the story if any information is provided and any charges are filed on any drivers.
