Often when we hear the word "portfolio"in an economic sense, we think of stock trading and high profile business. But what if the term portfolio could be reinvented to be accessible and impactful at the local level? In this workshop we'll each be mapping the different kinds of equity that circulate in our lives to openly communicate what our needs are as well as what we have to contribute to others. The standard economic system paradigm is based on scarcity, supply/demand, transaction, acquisition, self-interest, competition, extraction, and degradation.



A holistic economic approach is based on the care of relationships at each scale and context beginning at the local and bioregional levels. It's dynamics are based on abundant overflow, interdependence, collaboration, relationships, restoration, reconciliation, and regeneration.



The general idea we'll be unpacking, is that money does not need to be central but can be integrated and supplemental in communities that are able to also use their relationships for multiple forms of exchange dynamics like time-banking, local currency, barter, gift economy, live/work trade, pay-it-forward. This session will be a basic mock-up of the proposed dynamics and technology of the Regenerative Footprint. We'll also dive more into the implications of what multiple communities doing this kind of work in a mycelial network means at the bioregional and global scale of impact.
