Recipe to make SAMOSAS - spicy Indian pastries with potato filling
Dough:
mix together 1 cup white flour
1 cup graham or ata ( chapati flour )
1 teasp. salt
warm water as you need
the dough should be not too soft, not too hard
Filling:
cook potatoes with skin in salty water
peel them and cut in cubes
fry in Oil:2 tablesp.coriander seeds
2 tablesp. jeera( cumin)
1 red onion fine chopped add
1 green chili chopped
1 teasp.jeera powder
1 teasp. coriander powder
1 teasp.kurkuma
1 teasp. chili powder
1 teasp. salt
1 garlic nicely chopped
as you like a bit of ginger and asafetida
add potatoe cubes and mix all together
add some lemon juice, green coriander leafs and mix
all ingredients
prepare the samosas as demonstrated on the video
