দেশের অন্যতম প্রধান নদীবন্দর ঢাকার সদরঘাট। সদরঘাট বাংলাদেশের নৌ পরিবহনের কেন্দ্রবিন্দু। এ নদীবন্দর থেকে দেশের দক্ষিণাঞ্চলের বিভিন্ন স্থানে সরাসরি লঞ্চ চলাচল করে থাকে। সদরঘাট থেকে ছেড়ে যাওয়া রুটে বড় আকারের জাহাজ চলাচল করে বিধায় দুর্ঘটনার মাত্রা অনেকটাই কম হয়ে থাকে। তবে, নিরাপত্তা সরঞ্জাম, লাইফ জ্যাকেট, মেডিকেল সেন্টার, নিয়মিত মনিটরিং, মান নিয়ন্ত্রণ, আধুনিক অগ্নিনির্বাপণ ব্যবস্থাসহ বিভিন্ন ক্ষেত্রে তথ্য ও যোগযোগ প্রযুক্তির ব্যবহার আরও বৃদ্ধি করা গেলে দুর্ঘটনার মাত্রা প্রায় শূণ্যতে নামিয়ে আনা সম্ভব হবে।

ICT Vision is a documentary program ( Information and Communication Technology Based) of BTV which is planning, researching, scripting and presenting by me (M A Rashid)

About 16 (sixteen) years ago, I first started a documentary based program titled “ICT Vision” on BTV (Bangladesh Television) to bring the ICT or information technology sector to the public and to make the young society aware. The documentary program “ICT Vision” has been winning the hearts of the audience for a long time, with richer information on the latest topics of the ICT sector.
Also, in view of the demand of the audience, we later started a similar documentary based program “Ajker Vision” on IT ( Information and Communication Technology Based) in ATN Bangla. Here too the program titled “Ajker Vision” has gained immense popularity.
