BREAKING: Afghan Army Chief Warns Pakistan after Major Border Clash

Описание: Afghanistan’s Defence Ministry has confirmed carrying out drone strikes on multiple military locations inside Pakistan, including Islamabad, Noshera, Abbottabad and Jamrud. One reported strike in Islamabad was just five kilometres from Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif’s office.

Afghanistan’s Army Chief Fasihuddin Fitrat issued a strong warning to Pakistan’s military leadership, saying, “Our hand can reach your neck anytime.” The Afghan government spokesperson also repeated a similar warning.

Pakistan has officially acknowledged clashes across 15 sectors in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa at 55 different locations. Since the Taliban takeover in 2021, around 5,000 Pakistanis — including security personnel and civilians — have reportedly been killed along the Durand Line.

Following the escalation, Pakistan has approached Saudi Arabia, Qatar and Turkey seeking international intervention to reduce tensions.
