JILS - FOR YØU PV [2000.08.27] HD 1080p | SCENE#01

Описание: This is my rip of JILS's PV for their song, "YØU", from their VHS release, "SCENE#01". This VHS was distributed for their sold out show at Shinjuku Liquid Room. The video contains clips from various live performances, and out cuts from their photo-shoots. This might also be the first official release from JILS for consumers, as the number listed on the side of the VHS is, "GKVT-001". Also, of course this release was on the Kreis label, and was executive-ly produced by Yukiya.

JILS was an indie visual kei band. Their musical style is quite melodic and mostly melancholic, but energetic. Their visual style can basically be described as 'Kurofuku kei' (黒 服 系), concentrating (in vk terms) on simple black clothing, including costumes, etc.

JILS was formed in 1999 by vocalist YUKIYA (Ex- D ≒ SIRE ), guitarist SHUN (Ex- Vasalla ), guitarist MARIKI (Ex- ZENITH ) and drummer HIDEYOSHI (ex- D ≒ SIRE ) . In December 1999, HIDEYOSHI left the band and soon after, two new members joined JILS forming a complete formation of 5 members: bassist REN and drummer TOHRU (ex- Merry Go Round)
They stayed active throughout their career, and had many successful releases, but after 2 years REN , MARIKI and TOHRU left the band. In 2003, new bassist ICHIRO (ex- DAS:VASSER ) joined , and former bandmate HIDEYOSHI also rejoined the drums, but after a few months he left, making JILS a band again. of 3 members in mid-2003. They performed with various supporting drummers, including Hiroshi Sasabuchi, Tomohiro Kato (加藤 友 啓), and Tomoi (ex- Laputa ).

Between 1999 and 2004 they released an impressive number of demotapes, singles, and albums until they finally took a break. Between 2004 and 2006, members focused on other activities, such as side projects. In 2006 they got together again and released new material, but in early 2007 they announced that they would dissolve indefinitely after a last tour in April / May 2007.
