Steel molds are permanent molds that can be used multiple times, helping to reduce production costs for mass-produced products. Products cast using steel molds typically have higher accuracy and a smoother surface compared to sand castings. Naturally, castings also have a finer crystalline structure due to the faster cooling rate, which improves mechanical properties.
