Описание: SIR Verdict at Supreme Court | সুপ্রিম কোর্টের নির্দেশে পশ্চিমবঙ্গে এসআইআরের সময়সীমা বাড়ল। স্ক্রুটিনির জন্য সাত দিন সময়সীমা বাড়ানোর কথা সোমবার ঘোষণা করেছে শীর্ষ আদালত। সেই সঙ্গে জানানো হয়েছে, ইআরও-রা এ বিষয়ে চূড়ান্ত সিদ্ধান্ত নেবেন। সুপ্রিম কোর্টের ওই নির্দেশের জেরে চূড়ান্ত ভোটার তালিকা প্রকাশ পিছিয়ে যাবে বলে কমিশনের তরফে জানানো হয়েছে।

On the direction of the Supreme Court, the timeline for SIR in West Bengal has been extended. The apex court announced on Monday that an additional seven days will be granted for scrutiny.

The court also clarified that EROs will take the final decision in this matter. Following the Supreme Court’s directive, the Election Commission stated that the publication of the final voter list will be delayed.
