Dr Mateo, Blix and Laroxx. Three Swedish guys working in different music genres found out that they all loved bands like Modern Talking, Koto, Fancy, Tom Hooker, Miko Mission and most other music from the 80's. Spending the night together at a club lead to the decision to create music inspired by Italodisco from the 80's -- ItaLove was born.
As soon as the first demos were available on Facebook and Soundcloud, Blix was called up by the legendary Italodisco label Flashback Records who wanted to sign a contract. "L'amour" with its vibe of Modern Talking was chosen to be the first release.
At the same time, some of the demos turned up as youtube clips with thousands of viewers from all over the world, especially South America and Eastern Europe. Polish Radio 80 and Mexican Dance Classic Radio are some of the radio stations that are playing the songs on demand from their listeners. Italo Disco IS back!
On the 23rd of January the debut single, EP, and 12inch vinyl of "L'amour" is released on Itunes, Spotify and Amazon. Listen and love...
