Aurlandsdalen backpacking trip - from Finse to Flåm

Описание: Believe it or not, this hike took place in mid-July. We set out from Oslo in a company of six - Daniel was our Norwegian guide and the main organiser of this trip. The other four were skilled mountaineers from Gmunden - a beautiful village in the Austrian Alps - Nati, Nicole, Sebi and Philipp. And finally, there was me - the Slovak girl who assumed the role of the Video Producer on this trip.
We stopped in some cabins along the way for refreshment, but other than that, we relied on our tents and backpacks. We hiked for four days in very rainy, muddy and windy conditions. We spent three nights sleeping in the wild.
The hike started at a train station in Finse and ended in Flåm - a small town but a big tourist attraction.
There, we stayed in an official camping resort and explored some of the tourist attractions. We went to see a Viking village in Gudvangen to learn about the lives of Vikings who lived there many years ago.
The conclusion of our adventure was a beautiful train ride from Flåm to Myrdal on a historical train.

Camping out in nature is not for everybody. Before you go, learn about the rules for camping outside in Norway. Make sure you have good equipment and someone to guide you. Make sure you collect your trash and don't leave it laying around so that the next people can find the path just as clean as you did.

This trip made us forget about the troubles of our everyday lives and reminded us that we are children of this mighty Earth. I for one, will definitely be coming back again.
