Playa de Cofete to najbardziej dzika i niedostępna plaża na Fuerteventurze i chyba na całym archipelagu Wysp Kanaryjskich. Mówi się także, że to najbardziej samotne miejsce w Hiszpanii. Rzeczywiście nawet w szczycie sezonu turystycznego jest to miejsce stosunkowo odludne i powinno spodobać się szczególnie osobom lubiącym ciszę i spokój. Wiatr i fale są zwykle tak silne, że nie można się kąpać, więc i plażowiczów nie ma zbyt wielu. Warto za to wybrać się na długi spacer. Plaża Cofete to 12 kilometrów dzikiego piaszczystego wybrzeża otoczonego przez skaliste klify i rozszalałe wody oceanu.

W to położone w północnej części Fuerteventury miejsce dostaniesz się wyłącznie szutrową drogą, która prowadzi przez przełęcz górską z której roztacza się widok na całą plażę Cofete.

Playa de Cofete is the wildest and most inaccessible beach in Fuerteventura and probably in the entire Canary Islands archipelago. It is also said to be the loneliest place in Spain. Indeed, even during the peak tourist season, this place is relatively secluded and should especially appeal to people who like peace and quiet. The wind and waves are usually so strong that you can't swim, so there are not many beachgoers. It is worth going for a long walk. Cofete Beach is 12 kilometers of wild sandy coast surrounded by rocky cliffs and raging ocean waters.

You can get to this place, located in the northern part of Fuerteventura, only by a gravel road that leads through a mountain pass with a view of the entire Cofete beach.
