In this video, we modify the ESC cooling bay panel to repair a known defect from the factory using only foam filler, X-Acto & tape. We cut and form our own NACA inlet so the ESCs get more cooling airflow - as the designers originally intended.
This mod is for ALL THREE models of Supreme Hobbies' Super Scale airliners (including the A330 MRTT military version). In all known cases, these come with a totally blocked cooling inlet duct due to misalignment in the factory's molding process. An easy fix, but you really should open up this 2nd duct before taxiing these RC airliners. Replacing ESCs can be expensive... and a parts hassle.
