I've been to the park 19 times and have driven and photographed my favorite road in all seasons. We see all the beautiful sites as we drive across one of the most scenic roads in North America- Glacier National Park's Going to the Sun Road. In 2024, you do not need a Vehicle Reservation ticket to drive the road from the east side. From the west entrance, between 6am and 3pm you need a hard to get Vehicle reservation.
I'll show you great places to photograph the sites and wildlife, including bears.
See the glacier carved mountains and stunning views- like the Wild Goose Island Viewpoint and several waterfalls.
We stop at Lunch Creek and for a photo op and at pullouts below Logan Pass for the incredible views of the mountains and valley.
At Logan Pass I show you my favorite trails, including the Highline!
It gets twisty from the pass down to Lake McDonald and show you how pretty it is in the fall at peak color.
I'l show you where to see the cascades of McDonald Creek, the old growth forest on the Trail of the Cedars.
We end at Apgar for the shops and diner and of course the sunset and sunrise.
