Burrard Strategy won a US Campaign & Elections Best Web Video Award for a Federal Campaign at Campaign Tech East on April 25, 2019 in Washington, DC. This video competed against hundreds of other submissions during a crowded 2018 US Midterm Election whereby Congressional candidates from both the Senate and House of Representatives also submitted videos for entry into this category.

The video is an Introduction to MP Sukh Dhaliwal who is running for re-election in the upcoming Canadian Federal Election on October 20, 2019. We decided to introduce and launch the campaign on Family Day, February 28, 2019.

This video was the first official video to honour Family Day, a British Columbia Statutory Holiday where people celebrate time with family. Appropriately titled “Family is Your First Team” it illustrates to the audience values and messages associated with the Federal Liberals, Canada’s current majority government.
