In this verse, Jesus is simply walking by the Sea of Galilee when He sees two brothers Simon called Peter and Andrew doing what they have always done: fishing. There is no stage, no announcement, no ceremony. This shows that God’s calling often meets people in the middle of ordinary life. Before any miracles or sermons, Jesus notices working men, faithful in their routine, and the invitation that follows begins right where they are.
