creeper is an explosive and hostile mob found in the highest grossing game of all time, minecraft, developed by Mojang. it is green in color all over its body which is supposed to camouflage itself from the grassy fields in minecraft. Next to zombies and skeletons, it spawns during the night or when the light level is low enough. when struck my lightning, it transforms into a charged creeper, which deals more damage and increases the blast radius when detonated. Notch, the original creator of minecraft, has gone on record saying the creeper was a mistake when coding the pig, another minecraft mob, but he liked the design so much he kept it in but as a hostile mob.


among us is a social deduction video game created by the developers of innersloth. you play as multicoloured spacemen called "crewmates" and you must finish tasks strewn about the map all while trying to find the impostor among your group. the impostor's goal is to kill every crewmate and to not get caught doing so. The game rose in popularity on twitch during the pandemic in 2020 with famous youtubers playing it like disguisedtoast, pokimane, sykkuno, jacksepticeye, and many others. The crewmates themselves have fallen into meme posts where the joke is that they can be found everywhere.
