ED MILLER: is a Scottish folk singer and songwriter known for his traditional and contemporary songs. He has released numerous albums and toured extensively.
Born in Edinburgh, Ed attended the University of Edinburgh before moving to the US, “ for a year or two”, to complete his graduate work in geography and folklore at the University of Texas.
Over 50 years later, he is still based in Austin and travels North America entertaining and educating audiences with his wonderful songs and his sense of humor.
He expanded his activities into leading folksong tours of Scotland meeting singers and hearing the songs of his homeland an activity from which he has now withdrawn.
Host of folk music shows on KUT and KUTX for over 40 years Ed is now host of "Across the Pond" on Austin's Sun Radio featuring music from both the UK and the USA.
