Marikina City Rep. Marcelino “Marcy” Teodoro on Wednesday (September 3) questioned the proposed construction of a slope protection structure along Balanti Creek in the city which will be funded P100 million under the 2026 national budget of the Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH).
According to Teodoro, he noticed this under the proposed fiscal year 2026 DPWH infrastructure program based on the National Expenditure Program (NEP).
Teodoro showed to members of media the existing slope protection project along Balinti Creek in Bgy. Sto. Niño, which according to him has already been completed.
