I'm back with our favourite vintage potato recipe book and diving into the wonderfully questionable world of 1970s cooking with a recipe from The Potato Book by Gwen Robyns… and honestly, it’s a wild one today.
On the menu: Potato Roly Poly.
We’re talking boiled egg, wrapped in sausage, wrapped again in mashed potato and absolutely drenched in tomato sauce. It’s giving retro dinner party. It’s giving beige buffet. It’s giving “why did they think this was a good idea?”
But the real question is… does it actually slap?
