My Friend Nat Williams and Debra Ricks have put out a challenge on the Facebook page _ Junk Journal Junksters Down Under.
Im making a Peter Rabbit Journal, that I need to make anyway, so this is having me thinking outside the box, its been Fun so far...

The challenge is to use:
• only old books, book pages, recycled cardboard and junk mail to create junk journal pages. You do not have to do a complete journal, but you may if you want to. Any size is fine. No other paper products can be used (including tea dyed copy paper!)
• use anything you can buy from an op shop is fine such as fabric, buttons, zips, crockery etc as long as it is not paper
• no cutters, templates, stencils, shape makers, die cuts etc. Craft knife, trimmers are fine. I will even allow a scoring board/tool but not things like envelope punch boards.
• paints, stamp pads etc are fine as are paint brushes, sponges etc.
• no printables or any commercial embellishments, diy embellishments are fine as long as you haven’t use commercial items to make them.
Can include sewing - either by hand or machine, and the use of pins/paperclips.
Create a YT video or add your results on the Junk Journal Junksters Down Under Facebook page. Let us know you have done so via adding a comment to one of the result videos either on Debra’s channel (String & Scissors) or mine, and a winner will be selected at the end of January and they will receive a prize. Aussie's only eligible for the prize. Next month is my turn to throw out a challenge to Deb and anyone else who wishes to join in. I have decided on this early as we will need to collect items! We will be creating with junk mail, so if you are interested in the Feb challenge then please start collecting all that bothersome junk from your letterbox this month.
