Hey everyone,
This is day 1 of my very first bike build. I just got my licence this year as well.

I picked up this bike in May of 2021.
The guy I got it from started bobbing it, then gave up on it.

It's a 1984 VT500cc Honda Shadow with short straight drag pipes.

My Dad, restored a lot of cars as well as 1936 Sunbeam and 1942 Triumph? (both sold unfortunately) back in tha day. Since he knows a hell of lot more than me about doing motorcycle restoration projects, he's the lead guy and I'm the "idea" guy, lol.

The plan is to chop the rear motorcycle frame behind the solo seat, add a sissy bar and bobbed rear fender, replace the headlight and repaint the bike.

This is day one of the build. There will be more Honda Shadow bobber build videos to come.
