ForensicXR allows learners to step inside immersive crime scenes using Mixed Reality (MR) technology. Students can move through detailed, interactive environments that can be recreated, adjusted, and repeated as often as needed. Elements that are dangerous, rare, or difficult to stage in real life can be recreated safely.
Learners can open drawers, look under furniture, examine objects, and explore at their own pace. The experience is very realistic, with detailed and interactive elements that encourage students to approach the scene thoughtfully, just as they would in a physical environment.
One of the most meaningful parts of this approach is the ability to repeat the experience. Students can practice, reflect, and try again. That repetition builds confidence and sharper investigative thinking.
It also opens doors for inclusion. Learners who may not be able to physically enter a staged scene can still participate fully. Remote collaboration becomes possible too, with experts observing and guiding from different locations.
