By the time the zombie outbreak reached our region, most military facilities had already been abandoned or overrun. I was searching for somewhere isolated — somewhere the infected couldn’t easily reach.
That’s when I found the lake.
At first it looked completely ordinary. Quiet water, thick forest surrounding the shoreline, nothing unusual. But while exploring the area, I noticed something strange beneath the surface — a massive steel structure hidden under the lake.
It turned out to be a secret military submarine base, built decades earlier and concealed beneath the water to remain invisible from the outside world.
In this fictional creepypasta survival story, a survivor discovers a hidden underwater military base during the zombie outbreak and uses it as a refuge while the world above collapses.
But deep underground facilities are never as empty as they appear. Old control rooms still have power, sealed hangars remain locked, and sonar systems occasionally detect movement in the water outside the base.
