Summit Academy OIC is an accredited, nonprofit career and technical education institute located in North Minneapolis. Summit offers in-demand career training in fields related to Construction, Healthcare, and Information Technology. Students in these programs have the opportunity to build professional relationships with instructors and employer partners in a supportive environment as they prepare for careers they will love.

Summit’s 10-week GED program prepares students to pass the tests needed to earn a high school equivalency diploma. Summit recently celebrated its 400th student to earn a GED. These students are also supported as they seek employment and/or additional education.

The Northside STEM District empowers students of color by providing hands-on Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math (STEM) programs, activities and education that inspires and prepares them to be workers of today, tomorrow and the future.
