OUR DAY IN AUCKLAND: VIADUCT HARBOUR, MONSTERA & VAN GOGH ALIVE /// TRAVEL VLOG 2021

Описание: It's great to be back with another travel vlog! This one was filmed some time ago before Auckland went into lockdown in 2021, so there were no restrictions in place yet. Hopefully, this video will be helpful when Auckland will be open for tourists again.

This in not our typical travel vlog. This video is more in 'one day in a life' format and follows us on our visit to Auckland. As this day was packed with things to do, we tried to film as much as possible and show you some great spots you can visit around the city. We're sure, some of these places will be interesting to know even for many locals!

As you may know, we are based in Tauranga, so we travelled to Auckland in the morning and jumped into what was planned for the day straight on. Kseniia visited a media event and I decided to walk around one of my favourite areas in the city - Viaduct Habour. Wynyard Quarter and Silo Park are cool vibrant places to take some great images of and these spots offer amazing landscapes to admire and photograph. This is also an amazing place for lunch and especially dinner as it's home to some of the coolest bars and restaurants in Auckland.

Later we decided to check out quite an unusual place, which is a bit off the beaten tourists path. We visited Monstera - the largest indoor plants store in New Zealand! This is definitely a place to visit in Auckland if you like plants. Such a big selection of different kinds of indoor plants and also a cool place to take Insta pictures!

Before driving back home we had another thing planned. It was the Van Gogh Alive art exhibition at Spark Arena. This was an immersive experience with some of Van Gogh's most impressive works telling the story of this great artist's life. Show goes on for about 45 minutes and there are lots of screens around showing animated pictures accompanied by light and music. Truely amazing!

2021 isn't our most exciting year in terms of travelling around New Zealand and filming videos. We hope to bring you more content in future.
