BEST EDC?!?: The Quiet Carry Waypoint 2020

Comparison: A compliment to a collection in form and function? Light weight EDC, Super corrosion resistant for the rainy season.
Cost: Can I justify it? Value/Quality build for the money. Grade it an A.
Coolness: Will it bring me joy every time (Like my leather jacket)? The designer at QC has an amazing attention to detail AND they make incremental improvements based on feedback! Manufacturers take note.
Customize: Can it get close to perfection? Variations of the model? I’m hard pressed to recommend or make any improvements. SUGGESTION: Change fixed to removable thumb studs and a non-shiny gray pocket clip.
Cut: Blade steel & shape. Will it cut, hold an edge, ...? Drop/Clip point design. Vanax Super Clean (Vanax 37) Peters heat treat (same people that Strider uses) 61 HRC, very corrosion resistant pinnacle of EDC . Holds an edge better than LC200N. Good toughness and even better wear resistance steel - a nitrogen steel compared to M4, M390, 20CV, S110V, LC200N, ZDP, maxamet, S90V.

Carry/EDC: In the pocket. Does it bring me joy to hold and carry? 2.7oz! Ambidextrous. Love the paper-pocket clip!
Conclusion: Purchase or Pass? Will it be part of my collection? Does it meet OR can it meet my criteria (e.g., with better steel, or scales). Absolutely, already there. Arguably one of the best EDC's in my collection.
