These people are modern-day pioneers who've chosen to leave their home countries in pursuit of a better life. In addition to their luggage- they bring with them their skill sets, mind frames, and their love of living life freer and healthier than they previously could.

This week Jesse sites down with Maya Choi at her cultural center in San Pedro de Vilcabamba. Maya is an author and therapeutic zen mentor who practices movement meditation. Maya has a meditative retreat and artist residence up high on the mountain where she welcomes guests from all over the world. She has recently opened Sukkha Wasi right in town where you can learn chi-gong and tai-chi, meditation, painting, pottery, and eat a delicious Korean lunch!
