Repair broken zipper - NO sewing, NO tailor

No problem, Mongo Fix.

Looks like the slider of the zipper failed. Torn metal and bent.

If you want to replace the zipper on your winter jacket then THIS IS THE BEST VIDEO for you!

Mongo run up to the Hobby Lobby and pick up a replacement zipper slider. This one brand is Fix-a-zipper. It just a slider kit, a bit pricy for what it is, but way cheaper than a Tailor and a new jacket.

When selecting a new slider couple thing to note.
There all sorts of different types and size zippers. Be sure to match up your type and size before buying. Do not just guess.
1. Match the shape of the clasping mechanism.
2. Measure the width, when the zipper is closed (this is difficult when the slider is broken off the zipper).

This kit very easy to use. Comes with a small tool to open the slider. Slide the opened slider over the correct side of the zipper. Press the slider closed, a snap sound will be heard. ALL DONE!

So far this zipper been working for 1 month with no issues.
