Feeling overwhelmed or burnt out? Take a break and experience "The Balancing Act", a chaotic life simulation exploring the challenges of adulthood. In this 17-minute video, watch a full 5-day cycle where you juggle work, home, friends, and personal health – proving that even an ordinary day can be surprisingly hectic!
This student project was developed by Sofia Maior (game development, Scotland) and Anna Maria Constantinescu (music & SFX, National University of Music, Bucharest), and received very positive feedback. A longer version might come in the future!
For me, this gameplay is extra special: Anna Maria Constantinescu, who created the music and sound effects, is a former student of mine. Seeing her collaborate with Sofia Maior on such a creative project makes the experience even more meaningful.
Perfect for fans of indie games, life simulations, or anyone curious about the struggles of adult life.
