AFTERMOVIE - European Union Prize for Literature 2024 - Announcement ceremony at Brussels Book Fair

Описание: Now that two months have passed since the winners and special mentions were announced, we can't help but recall the energy that filled the Place de l’Europe in the Gare Maritime during Brussels Book Fair. Over 200 people from different countries came together, united by their love for books, to support the 13 nominated authors and discover the jury's verdict.

This event was an opportunity to bring everybody together in a unique celebration, to highlight the linguistic and cultural diversity that emanates from Europe, and to enable the authors to network in views of finding opportunities abroad thanks to the support of the Prize.

We hope that these literary talents will be translated and that their texts will find readers beyond their national and linguistic borders, because cultural exchanges and the circulation of literature within Europe are the main reasons for the EUPL's existence.
