This experimental film embraces the topic of love for the arts as well as the freedom of expression. It seeks to depict the Nanyang Style and how it is closely linked to the traditional arts scene in Singapore. It can be seen as a piece of canvas painted by everyone of their inspirations.
This in turn creates a meaningful combination of skills that reflects the journey of the artist. The film uses the abstract movements of people to illustrate the idea of history.
This film was done by a group of final year Video Production students for the module, Advance Video Production. As part of the assignment requirements, the students collaborated with Theatre students to explore the use of space, physical theatre moves as well as camera and shot planning.
