Serlachiuksella 12.4.–17.8.2025 nähtävä näyttely Monogrammisti I.S. – Rembrandtin arvoituksellinen aikalainen raottaa mysteeriä. Samalla se on ensimmäinen kokonaiskatsaus taiteilijan uraan.

Näyttelyn kuraattori, Serlachiuksen amanuenssi, FT Tomi Moisio kertoo videolla taiteilijasta ja hänen teoksistaan.

Serlachius on Mäntässä sijaitseva taidekohde, jota ylläpitää vuonna 1933 perustettu Gösta Serlachiuksen taidesäätiö.

One of the great mysteries of 17th-century Dutch art is the identity of the artist who signed their paintings with the initials I.S. The exhibition Master I.S. – The Enigmatic Contemporary of Rembrandt, on view at Serlachius from 12 April to 17 August 2025, sheds light to this mystery. At the same time it is the first comprehensive overview of the artist’s career.

In the video, the exhibition’s curator, Dr. Tomi Moisio, Curator at Serlachius, discusses the artist and their works.
