Описание: The flood situation in Assam remains grim as 16 lakh people living in 22 districts have been affected so far. Several fresh low-lying regions have been affected. More than 50 per cent areas of Kaziranga National Park and Pobitora Wildlife Sanctuary are still inundated and the current flood has forced many animals to move safer places like the Karbi hills area.
