This is the Saginaw headed north-bound on the St. Clair River at Port Huron, Michigan. The vessel was first sighted at around 5:30 P.M. on April 19th, 2019 (4/19/19).
The Saginaw was launched in 1953 as the John J. Boland, of American Steamship Company. The name John J. Boland lasted from 1953-1999 when she was renamed the Saginaw. The Saginaw was a steamer from 1953-2008, when Lower Lakes Towing decided to convert her to diesel and be able to keep her on the lakes longer.
