Radio of my parents' youth (and mine too)

Radio Luxembourg , We listened on medium wave , every evening. However, it was always possible to hear music , which was to reach our country of us only some time later. We were young and yearned for contact with the Western world. Listening to Radio Luxembourg gave us a substitute for a dream come true. Some big beat groups sang and played what they had previously heard on the radio. For us , the radio and the music it broadcast was probably something completely different from the westerners. For them, it was one of the many stations broadcasting music. For us, Luxemburg was an absolutely cult station.
