Starting with a phonetic introduction of the word, coupled with a few innate body reactions that seed the idea of a mind-body connection from the start, OOPA takes learners to her signature WORDSHOP where she meets her friend Suhana who has a tube of toothpaste and a telescope! Suhana tells OOPA how both of these things are different types of tubes she likes to use. Then in the “Movement Room,” they connect the word TUBE to their bodies. They pretend to be big tubes of toothpaste, squeezing some out to brush their teeth. Then they pretend to use telescopes, looking for stars in the sky. OOPA closes with a quiet reflection, modeling mindfulness as a healthy habit.
