Thousands throughout Northeast Ohio gather for 'No Kings' protest

Описание: A large crowd gathered in Cleveland’s Public Square Saturday afternoon for the “No Kings” rally — a demonstration organizers say is about pushing back against symbols of power and privilege.

Marchers chanted and waved handmade signs calling for fairness, freedom, and representation. Protesters say they’re fed up with systems that elevate individuals above others — whether in politics, wealth, or status.

“This isn’t just about foreign monarchies,” one attendee said. “It’s about challenging everyday inequality here at home.”

Deborah Fide, who attended the rally, said she wanted to show support for democracy.

“We just thought it was really important to be part of the group of the people, lend support to the movement to say that democracy is important and we love our country,” Fide said.
