Today is Valentine’s Day, but it’s not a special event for us.
We work at the same company in Osaka, but our schedules send us in different directions. In the morning, we have a simple breakfast together at home. After that, he goes to his job as an electrician, and I travel alone from Osaka to Oita for a business trip as a robot programmer.
It’s about six hours of quiet trains, waiting on platforms, and small routines in an ordinary hotel room before work the next day. No big surprises. No romantic plans. Just a normal workday that happens to be on Valentine’s Day.
We like to film our days the way they actually feel:
commuting, eating simple meals, packing, waiting, working, and the quiet moments in between. Some days we are together. Some days we are in different cities. This is our life in progress.
