As a doctor, Daan possesses the Medical Diagnosis Skill which allows him to examine the bodies of enemies to see what their possible history and weaknesses are. The skill provides a fun mix of both useful knowledge and fun sarcasm, but sometimes, it can provide truths better left hidden. When you use it on Stitches first, Daan has the horrifying realization that it is actually his late fiance Elise who was part of a grim ritual to the Sulfur God years prior. He remarks there was no way she should be alive, but has a similar shocking realization when using the skill on Needles as he resembles his late father in law who was part of the same Cult of Sulfur ritual. This leaves Daan all mixed up and makes him even more susceptible to Pocketcat's influence.
