Valve has officially announced a delay for its upcoming Steam Machine (along with the Steam Frame VR headset and new Steam Controller) as of early February 2026.

Reason for Delay: Valve cited a global "RAM crisis" and storage shortages, largely driven by the AI industry's high demand for memory components.
Revised Launch Window: While the hardware was originally targeting an "early 2026" or Q1 release, Valve's updated goal is now to ship within the first half of 2026 (by June 30).
