Gender in Astrology: Zodiac, Planets, Aspects, & Houses

Описание: Gender is the most foundational symbolic dichotomy in Astrology, and probably in the human psyche. Gender shows up in the Zodiac (each sign is either masculine or feminine), the planets (the traditional planets all have a gender), the houses (certain houses and parts of the sky carry more masculine or feminine connotations) and in the aspects (pythagorean numerology, which assigns a gender to each positive integer, is the foundation for deriving symbolic meaning from the aspects).

Aleena is a traditional, Hellenistic Astrologer, and this video references ancient frameworks, not modern understandings. Aleena and her channel usually take a more historical perspective, trying to unearth original principles. You might try to remove any modern ideas about men and women or gender as it shows up in the 21st century, and instead marvel at the logic of the Ancient world.

About Aleena

Aleena is full time, professional Astrologer, Yoga Teacher, and Artist.
