Gaurav explains that after Pakistan’s airstrikes inside Afghanistan (in which Afghan media showed civilian casualties, including a boy whose entire family was killed), Afghan Taliban have launched heavy retaliatory operations along the Durand Line.

Afghan Taliban spokesmen are quoted claiming they have captured several Pakistani border posts, killed more than 55 Pakistani soldiers, and taken “dozens” of troops prisoner, vowing that unlike last time they will not quietly release captives.

There are even unverified Afghan claims of a Pakistani jet being shot down, which Gaurav clearly labels as not independently confirmed, noting that any confirmation would have to come from the Afghan side because Pakistan will never admit it.

Qatar call and “scripted” calm on India front
The same journalist notes that right when border clashes intensify, Qatar’s minister phones Ishaq Dar, after Pakistani leaders had just been in Doha “at the king’s feet,” suggesting Gulf mediation is again being used to cool things without solving root issues.

He claims (as analysis/speculation) that after Modi’s recent visit to Netanyahu, India has effectively been told by the US–Israel camp not to hit Pakistan while Islamabad is busy “cleaning up” Sunni extremists on the western front; he says he would be shocked if India attacked during this phase because that would be the ideal enemy scenario, yet it is not happening.

Asim Munir, Bagram base rumours and US angle
Pakistani commentators and GS Reaction read social‑media rumours that Pakistan might be trying to “arrange” Bagram airbase in Afghanistan for the US, but Gaurav and DC mock this: how can Pakistan “give” an Afghan base it doesn’t control or secure.

The journalist argues Pakistan cannot out‑match US firepower; America had 20 years in Afghanistan and still left, so Asim Munir’s army—far weaker and with far more to lose—would be foolish to think it can impose its will on Afghan Taliban by force alone.

War of resistance: from “Pakistan” to “Punjab Army”
A UK‑based Pakistani analyst (quoted in the clip) warns that Afghanistan is drifting into a “war of resistance” not just against Pakistan as a state but increasingly against the Punjabi‑dominated Pakistan Army, especially if Indian money or support is perceived to be involved.

Gaurav agrees that even if he cannot verify any “Indian funding,” a resistance war directly targeting Pakistan’s Punjabi army looks inevitable, because of long‑standing grievances in KP, Balochistan and among Afghans over disappearances, killings and double games.

He notes that KP’s own provincial government is now described by Pakistani analysts as an “enemy government,” meaning resistance may align Afghan fighters, KP Pashtuns and Baloch against the central Punjabi establishment.

Pakistan’s multi‑front squeeze and India’s role
Gaurav and DC argue that Asim Munir has effectively created a new, dedicated Afghan enemy while still facing BLA, TTP and economic collapse; India, they say, does not need to do much except stay prepared and watch.
​

They predict that unlike the 2000s “War on Terror” era—when Punjab remained comparatively safe—this time Punjab itself will face blowback as resistance spreads, turning Pakistan’s own heartland into a battlefield.
