Situated at the foot of The Mendips between Cheddar and Axbridge, the reservoir offers some easy walking together with some great views across the local countryside. This walk starts at one of the two free carparks and takes in the reservoir (2 miles) and then extends with a loop to Axbridge where you can admire the beautiful, old buildings and maybe grab a coffee. It's then a short walk back to the carpark making the route ideal for a half day outing (about 3.5 miles in total).
