Native American arts and crafts have a rich history in South Carolina. Through Native American tribes and organizations like the USC Lancaster Native American Studies Center, the public is able to explore the vibrant traditions and diverse talents of Indigenous artists. The South Carolina Commission for Minority visited the Native American Studies Center during one of its annual Art & Craft Festivals to experience the artistry of local talents and highlight the importance of protecting the integrity of Native American arts and crafts.
