Update: This lift replaced a Marryat & Scott "Star 8" lift which was installed in 1976, when the car park was originally built (Thanks to Keith Huddy for this info).
This lift serves parking levels 2 (for exit to street),4,6 & 8 of the car park. The COP has a button for level 0, but this is actually for level 2, and is shown as 2 on the floor indicators.
I have not been in this car park for over 15 years, but if my memory serves me right, this is not the original lift. I believe the original lift didn't have the single-leaf door, and the buttons were of the generic 80's style "square metal with red lit border" type (as seen in many UK car parks in the 80's/early 90's). Neither of the call buttons here are original. There were also floor indicators above the doors, both inside and outside of the lift, in the same "square metal with red lit borders" style as the original buttons.
