There are high barriers to entry for new players and small existing firms in the wholesale Liquified Petroleum Gas. That's one finding of the competition commission market inquiry into the LPG sector handed to economic development minister today. The report says the sector is highly concentrated with four large wholesalers accounting for 90% of the market share. The inquiry into the sector was launched in August 2014 to look into the state of competition in the sector.
