We headed down to Cimarron, New Mexico for a two-night adventure packed with fishing, fall colors, and ghost stories! Our trip started off before sunrise at Eagle Nest Lake, where we were greeted by a bugling elk echoing across the water. The morning bite was slow, but Killa Kat stole the show by landing several beautiful trout.
After fishing, we cruised the Enchanted Circle to take in the stunning fall foliage and stumbled upon some amazing Earthships near Taos — a true New Mexico surprise!
As the sun went down, we headed back to the historic and haunted St. James Hotel in Cimarron for a night of ghost hunting. Between the eerie halls, a few odd occurrences, and some late-night card games, it’s safe to say the St. James didn’t disappoint.
