Hey house lovers and explorers!
This video I take you through 2 homes that were in immaculate condition with nothing wrong with them but were victims of "progress"..........The first is a 1920 built bungalow which is a great example of how the old Federation style villas transitioned in to the bungalow style as this one has the layout of a villa but distinct features of the early bungalows. The home had been updated extensively of the last 20 years it seems but has loads of old charm still. Some salvage had taken place but there are plenty of real estate pics for this one too.
The second home is meeting the same fate but being replaced with another dwelling. This art deco/Spanish mission style home was built in 1935 and also has been extensively remodeled at the rear and bathrooms. Still lots of old features to show us the classy period this home was built in.
